Hi I'm Abigail!

I have grown up in Utah, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. I am a sister, a friend, and a daughter. I'm also a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I am the middle child of 5 children. I have two faithful older brothers and two sweet younger brothers. I was born in Utah, and later at age 7 I moved to Hershey, Pennsylvania. About 4 years afterwards, my family moved to Philadelphia, where we lived for about a year before moving to where we are currently living in Georgia. I enjoy hanging out with friends and playing my flute! I am a swimmer and a complete BYU fanatic!!!!!!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was born into an extremely righteous family whom I love so much. When it was time for me to turn eight, the usual age of baptism, I knew that all I wanted was to return to live with my Father in heaven. I joined the church because I want to be eternally happy with my family and my Savior as well as His Father. I know that this true is the true church of Jesus Christ. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and each of His beloved children. I know that every person on the earth has to deal with trials and difficulties in their lives. Yet I know that trials and tribulations are not what define a person, its the way we choose to react to these situations that really defines who we are. I am so grateful for all of the many blessings that this church has blessed me with. Not a single day goes by that I don't see the hand of the Lord in everything I do. I have a testimony of the atonement of Jesus Christ. He suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane for each of our individual trials. He felt our pains and sorrows, our grieve, and despair. And because of this, He knows exactly how we feel. He took upon himself the sins of the world so that each individual who has, is, or will ever live upon this earth can return to Him and live in happiness for all eternity. I love the Lord will all of my being and this is why I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christof Latter Day Saints (Mormon).

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith each and everyday. No matter where I am, at home or at school I try to live in a way that would make my Father above proud of the way I lead my life. Being an example at church, at school, at home, and in my community allows me to act upon what I know to be true. In my ward, I try to support and uplift the young women( ages 12-18). For me, living my faith sometimes just means a little smile, or bringing a plate of cookies to a neighbor. Also, allowing time for my friends and listening to what they have to say is important. Overall, I try to live my faith by showing charity, and service to all those around me. Charity is the pure love of Christ and by acting as the Savior would, I am able to become closer to Him and as a result feel His love for me each and every day.
