Hi I'm Heather

I'm a small-town girl. I love to laugh and sing and design pretty things. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a graphic designer and a "wanna-be" musician. I love to learn and try new things. I love spending time outdoors, especially in the mountains.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and baptized at age 8. I relied on the testimony of my parents for a time as a child but it didn't take long before I gained my own testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. I recognized the peace, comfort and happiness the gospel brings into my life. I have felt of the love of my Savior. I have learned about the importance of families and my specific role as a beloved daughter of God, in the great Plan of Happiness that our Heavenly Father has for us. I was sealed to my best friend in the temple so that if I keep the commandments and live righteously I can be with him and our future children for time AND eternity. My family is so important to me. They are my best friends and greatest support. I absolutely have a testimony of the reality of God and His Son, Jesus Christ. I know that our Heavenly father loves us and that we are watched over and guided in our daily lives. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins so that if we repent and strive to follow Him, we will be forgiven and we can return to live with Him after this life. I know that we have a living Prophet on the earth today, Thomas S. Monson, and that he receives modern revelation for the church. Miracles have not ceased. The Gospel was restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith and he translated The Book of Mormon, another Testament of Jesus Christ. I know that book is true and that it works hand in hand with the Bible to teach us the way to Eternal Life and Exaltation. I always have been and always will be a Mormon because it brings light, love, peace and happiness into my life.

How I live my faith

As members of the church, we are all given opportunities and assignments to bless the lives of others. Some callings I have received in the past include playing the piano, teaching lessons to the young women, teaching groups of younger children and visiting with other women (members) in their homes to be a support to them and to share gospel messages.
