Hi I'm Saadia

I never expected to return to college at the same time as my children as a single adult following the Lord's path. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was baptized 32 years ago and raised four children who have blessed me with four grandchildren. Another grandchild is expected next year. Now I live with my dog and enjoy many kinds of physical activity, especially if it is outdoors. I am a full time college student working on a Bachelor's degree in Management with the goal of someday owning my own business. I am a certified Personal Trainer, have competed in the annual local Fort4Fitness run/walk two years in a row, love to play in the snow, sing in the choir, and enjoy nature.

Why I am a Mormon

Since I as a very young girl I had wondered why people in love always seem to speak of "forever". When the missionaries knocked on my door and explained the gospel plan including being sealed for time and eternity (forever) I knew the Church was true and was baptized.

How I live my faith

I have done many things since my baptism that I have not been proud of, but through it all I always knew that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ were aware of me and loved me and wanted what was best for me. Experience has taught me to listen to the Spirit and be guided by His direction. Even though I am not a perfect person, I have received many blessings and much guidance in my life. I am currently striving to live as Heavenly Father would have me live, by faith in His Son instead of by my own wisdom. In so doing, I contact other sisters, attend church social activities, represent single adults over 30 years old to a church council for my area and act as the secretary to the young women's association for young ladies ages 12-18. I participate in the choir and try to participate in the many social and service activities sponsored by my Church unit. Recently, a group of about 30 of us, adults and children, split up and went to two local parks to pull weeds and pick up garbage to support the community in a Day of Service. That was a wonderful day of serving the Lord and serving the community at the same time.
