Hi I'm Cressa

I'm a daughter, granddaughter, sister and aunt. I am and more than just a little crazy and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family! We are a crazy, wild, happy, loving bunch. I get my love of song and dance, my love of books, and my humor/craziness from my mother. I love to write and create; I am almost never without a pen and notebook in hand. My family and friends keep me grounded and inspire me continuously in daily life and in my writings and dancing.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member as have my parents. My mother and her parents; my grandparents, are a major reason as to why I still am a member. It was my mother's love, strength, and courage that she, my brother and I, made it through the rough years that followed the divorce. It was also the many Bishops, young women's leaders, relief society sisters as well as loving neighbors that helped guide me and shape me into the woman that I am today. It was by their examples, love and care that I have felt and know for a surety that my Father in Heaven loves, cares, and knows me personally. Also through encouragement, many long talks, much study and thoughtful answers to my questions from others and from Heavenly Father I have come to know for myself that the Book of Mormon is true, that Joseph Smith was a prophet called by God and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints is Christ's church restored to the earth. I am so thankful for those who have helped me along the way and for those who have come before me, it it because of them that I am able to know what I know, and it is through that knowledge that I have found joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to do as the Savior would. I love going to church, singing in the choir, serving in my community and learning about Jesus Christ and His Gospel. I have done many things with in the church, from working with the little ones to directing music and now serving a full time mission. I am very grateful for the opportunity and privilege I have to be serving as a missionary. I love being able to teach people about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and his teachings. I find joy in sharing with others what has helped me to have so much joy.
