Hi I'm Christy

I love Agriculture and, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Christy Wilson. I am a college student at CGCC and I also have a full time job. My hobbies are learning guitar, reading, working, listening to music, and just being me. I am majoring in Livestock Management, and will be transferring to MSU to finish my Bachelor's. Agriculture and the environment are my passion and my dream; everything from horses and cows, down to our own influence on the biotic community. The animals and the earth were amazing beautiful gifts given to us to protect by our Heavenly Father, and it drives my dream to my future career and life in agriculture.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was LDS but inactive, and this is where my story starts. My mom married my dad almost 4 months before I was born. My dad was Catholic, and at that time did not ever intend to join the church. I was baptized at the age of 8 but I never really went to primary, I never sang the children songs, and that made me different from the other kids. My dad became interested in the church right around the time of the open house to the Snowflake temple, he was able to baptize my sister and my family became avid church goers. We were then sealed together as a family in my early teens. My start in the church was a hard one but through the trials I have faced and the things I have learned, I have seen and I know that this church is true, and my Heavenly Father loves me so much that he gave His Son so that I can live and come back to my Heavenly Father's arms.

How I live my faith

Living my faith as a young adult woman in today's society is hard. There are so many choiices and it's a critical time to decide which path I will take. I make quite a bit of mistakes, but I am so glad to have a bishop and my parents to help me when it gets too hard.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Christy
Family is the corner stone to our relgion and to our Eternal life with Heavenly Father. Family is sacred, the home is the place where we learn and grow. Our faith is a family unit we help each other and we help others. Family is love and trust which is so important to share with everyone. Show more Show less
