Hi I'm Jadrie

I'm a dancer. I'm a photographer. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After graduating high school in 2011 I moved to Southern California to peruse my dance career and to obtain an education. Dance has been a big part of my life for a long time. For me it is the perfect opportunity I have to express myself. Since living in California I have found a second love--photography. I take my Canon with me every chance I get! Living away from is hard at times because I absolutely love to spend time with my family. I consider my mother, my older brother and sister-in-law and my younger sister to be my very best friends. I love them with all of my heart and I am so thankful that families can be together forever, because I can't imagine life without them. I always look forward to their visits. One of my life goals is to travel the world! Especially over seas!! I plan to spend time backpacking around Western Europe! I can't imagine a better way to see and experience the lands and cultures than to do so among the people there.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being Mormon. I am a Mormon because I need The Lord in every aspect of my life. Living His teachings and following the advice and teachings of His holy prophets makes me a better person and makes me the smiling happy person that i am. I was born into a family full of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. At the age of 8 I expressed to my mother the desire I had to be baptized and become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am thankful that I was able to be introduced to the gospel of Christ at such a young age, but I am more thankful for the testimony that I have gained as I have studied more about the Lord in my teenage years. I love to read the holy scriptures. I know that the Book of Mormon testifies of the Savior, Jesus Christ. I also know that as I read it, I am blessed by the Lord. Since I have committed to reading the scriptures every day, I have noticed my life run more smoothly, and I truly have noticed myself feeling more joy! I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel of Jesus Christ in these latter days and that he also translated the Book of Mormon. Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet of God. He speaks for God, and he loves us all very much. I love this church and I am so proud to be a Mormon!!

How I live my faith

I love attending my church meetings each week. When I go to church meetings and activities I learn more about the Savior and I feel His love for me. Being an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint strengthens my love for others and my desire to be the best version of myself. From April 2013 to October 2014 I will have the pleasure of serving The Lord as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Kennewick, Washington mission. Serving God's children helps me feel closer to my Heavenly Father and to His son Jesus Christ and I look to these next 18 months with great excitement as I move to a new state and teach others about how much our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love each and every one of them.
