Hi I'm Ken

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Ken. I grew up in California and New Mexico and currently live in Indiana, I have a Masters from Cornell Univesity and I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that belonged to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As I grew older I came to know for myself that the teachings and principles of this church are true. It provides guidance to overcome the challenges I have faced in life. By following and observing its teachings we can find true happiness.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to serve the church in many ways. One thing that I enjoys is that those that serve in the church are not paid a salary but help the church as a service. Service to others is a way for us to show our love for Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. We learn in the Holy Bible that the first, great commandment is to love the Lord thy God and the second is like unto it, to love thy neighbor as theyself.

Are Mormons Christians?

Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the World and that only through him and by him can we be saved. We believe as it says in the Book of James in the Holy Bible that faith without works is dead being alone. This means we must demonstrate not only words but in deeds that to demonstrate true faith in Jesus Christ we must live our lives according to his commandments. Show more Show less
