Hi I'm Amber

I am a mother of two, an avid reader, I love to bake and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my very best friend for almost eight years. We have two boys, five and two, and I have the most wonderful job in the world - being a mom. I love to read, bake and play Legos and cars. I'm also a big fan of playing at the beach, hiking and camping. I don't wash my dishes as often as I should, or fold my laundry, but I enjoy keeping my house in order (mostly) and raising my boys wiht lots of giggles and fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by a single mom who has the most beautiful testimony of the LDS church and it's teachings. I grew up watching her struggle to raise my sister and me on her own, and I learned the value of faith and how to rely upon the Lord to help no matter what your life situation is. I was baptized into the LDS chruch when I was eight, and my conversion to it is an ongoing and beautiful process. Throughout my life I have tried to live the teachings of the church in my every day live, and I have noticed an increase in peace and serenity in my life when I act according to my faith. I am grateful for the gospel in my life, for the guidance its' teachings give me, and for the assuance I have that my family can be eternal. I am grateful to my Savior for his gift of the Atonement, and that I can repent and change my life to better emmulate Him every day.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday by reading my scriptures, teaching my children. We pray together as a family, read scriptures together, and try to serve our neighbors in need. I am blessed to be a nursery teacher in our ward, and every week during our church lessons I have the chance to teach and love the children who are 18 months to 3-years old (including my own 2-year-old). It is a blessing and a joy to share the lives of these sweet spirits who are still so close to Heaven.
