Hi I'm Glenn

I am a speed bag enthusiast, a draftsman, a Bishop, father to three girls, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a draftsman in construction management. My wife and I have three girls. We love vacations, movies, treats, and family bike rides. Although my family members think I am funny, they seem to be the only ones, so I usually leave that side of me at home. I exercise regularly and love to hit the speed bag.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was about fifteen years old I felt compelled to understand if the faith of my parents should also be my faith. I made a plan to read The Book of Mormon and pray every night. After weeks of reading and praying in a way not attempted before in my life, my answer came. I knew God was interested in me and felt I should learn, even at that age, to keep his commandments. The choices that have brought me the greatest peace I can trace back to that experience.

How I live my faith

We gather as a family in our home for prayer and scripture study daily. Have you ever tried to get three strong willed girls to kneel reverently? Though we struggle some days, the family is where our most important work is done. As a Bishop, I seek to encourage hope over despair in all who will trust in the source of that hope, Jesus Christ. His gospel gives purpose to all the good I try to accomplish. I find contentment in knowing we are God’s children and the peace that will come as we apply the teachings of the Savior.
