Hi I'm Susanne

I love Colorado. I am a personal trainer. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to the most understanding man on the planet and together we have three good, loving daughters. I am a personal trainer and I feel one of my callings in life is to help strengthen others not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually also. After being obese for a decade, I lost weight and use my experience to inspire others. I like hiking, biking, weightlifting, eating, writing, dreaming, learning, and hanging out with my family. I love exploring and want to know what is around every corner. Someday I would love to travel the world with my husband, but for now I am content with the daily adventures that accompany my life as an active, working mom and wife.

Why I am a Mormon

Through thick and thin, ups and downs, and throughout my life, I know that I have been watched over. Remembering all the awful situations I have been rescued from and protected through, as well as the amazing moments of pure love and happiness that I have felt, I know that there is so much more to this life then what meets the eye. There is a God who loves me, a Heavenly Brother who has sacrificed for me, and a Holy Spirit that encourages and helps me. Best of all, I found out that Jesus Christ can help us overcome our mistakes, our bad habits, and our shortcomings. Life isn't easy and I couldn't imagine how hard it would be without the pure and plain knowledge I have gained through reading the Book of Mormon and Bible. Serious pondering, questioning and thirsting after truth lead me back to concepts and principles I have been taught at church time after time. It takes alot of faith, or sometimes just a speck of faith at first, to act on beliefs. But after that leap of faith the rewards and blessings never, ever fail- because God never, ever fails.

How I live my faith

I assist in organizing activiites, parties and get-togethers for the women in our church. I help watch over two women in our neighborhood by visiting them regularly and helping them out whether it is through listening, praying for them, or bringing them soup when they are sick. In my community as a personal trainer I help others regularly and feel honored and blessed to be in a position where I can truly teach and inspire others to live longer, healthier, happier lives.
