Hi I'm Aljune C. Diamante

I'm a Mormon. (L.D.S)

About Me

I'm Aljune C. Diamante, I was baptized last April 22, 2006. I became a member when a friend of mine who is a member invite me to listen to the missionaries teaching about the gospel. The first time i knew this, I didn't have an interest but when the missionaries came to visit me ( Elder. Sta Maria and Elder Christensen) they've shared the Plan of Salvation, that was the time i had an interest specially when they shared about the family. That's why i had a desire to continue listening to them and it took me so long to be baptize then a year after they've taught me, I've decided to be baptized and i became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint. I'm currently serving as full time missionary in Philippine, Quezon City North Mission.

What do Mormons believe about "eternal life?"

Aljune C. Diamante
Eternal life is the phrase used in scripture to define the quality of life that our Eternal Father lives. The Lord declared, "This is my work and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man" (see Moses 1:39). Immortality is to live forever as a resurrected being. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, everyone will receive this gift. Eternal life, or exaltation, is to live in God's presence and to continue as families. Like immortality, this gift is made possible through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. However, to inherit eternal life requires our "obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel."
