Hi I'm Justin

I grew up in Washington State. I love music and the positive affects it has on us. I enjoy helping others, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at the University of Idaho and hold a major in Psychology, and a minor in Business. I am an Eagle Scout. Hobbies that I enjoy include; playing sports, such as baseball and basketball, being with friends, and playing games. I also enjoy listening to and making music, writing, reading, and spending time with my wife. She is the light within my life that makes each day brighter. She and I were married for all time and eternity; without end. I am grateful to be able to have the Restored Gospel within my life, and know what it is like without it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was not born as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. My father and I found the church after his car accident. During the accident, my dad pleaded with God to save him so that he could remain here on earth in order to help raise me. In so doing, he also made a promise that he would get his life together, and follow him. We searched for the Church of Jesus Christ, where we could follow Him in the way that He has shown. We found The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be that very church. Having the gospel of Jesus Christ in it's entirety is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

The manner in which I live my faith is simple and very similar to that of others. The most important thing in my life is my family and the gospel of Jesus Christ. I live my faith by striving to continuously keep in mind what Jesus Christ would do, and then put those things into fruition. I have done many things in my church. I achieved the Eagle Scout Award, and have given service to those in need. An example of this would be giving out clothing and hot dogs to those that didn't have homes in Seattle. Other things that I have had the opportunity of doing in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints have been teaching the youth as well as being a full-time missionary. Also, I am currently serving as a ward missionary, wherein I help others, and give all an opportunity to accept the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Justin
Each and every person on this earth is a son and daughter of our Heavenly Father. We all have much potential, and are unique according to our individual beliefs and personalities. "A Mormon" is one who is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a follower of Christ. All followers of Christ should serve others in any way that they are able. Mormons do not only help those of their own faith, but we help everyone that stands in need. We are about family and lasting friendships. I am grateful for the opportunities that I have to be able to help others, it enables me to have the opportunity of meeting new people and creating lasting friendships. Show more Show less
