Hi I'm Tim

I'm a mechanical engineering major. I love to sing, play trombone, and piano. I'm a Mormon and proud of it!

About Me

I am currently serving a full time mission as a representitive of Jesus Christ in the Hungary, Budapest mission. It is an immense honor to be a missionary and I love every second of it. I love the people of Hungary and hope that I can be the best I can so that I can help them recieve the same joy I have experienced in my life. Throughout high school I enjoyed participation in the swim team, marching band, wind ensemble, and jazz band. I enjoy the challenge of having a leadership role and learning how to help others be their best. On the swim team I was a captain for two years, and I was the drum major of the marching band my senior year. I earned an associate degree from a community college and am planning on majoring in mechanical engineering at a 4 year university. I immensely enjoy being a part of music. I enjoy to sing, play the piano, and play trombone. I am blessed to have an incredible family whom I love immensly. I love getting to talk with them and being with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I have searched, pondered, and prayed and have been blessed to receive divine inspiration that this gospel is true. In my own experience, gaining a firm testimony takes a lot of spiritual work, but work well worth the effort. I know God hears our prayers. He answers our prayers. I know this because I have seen and felt it numerous times in my life and I continue to see and feel it. The Book of Mormon is true. It is the word of God and testifies of Jesus Christ. It contains the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ and can help us draw closer to Him than any other book. I have felt and seen its power in my life. I have seen what this gospel has done for my life and others. This is Christ's church fully restored on the Earth again today.

How I live my faith

I strive to keep the commandments, always remember my Savior Jesus Christ, and I do the best I can to represent Jesus Christ in how I live. As a misisonary for this Church I have dedicated two years towards serving others. Two years towards inviting others to come to Christ. I try to work as hard as I can to try to serve others in all that I do. I pray often and read scriptures often. Usually, when I read and pray I apply what I learn and do towards helping others. I am learning a new language, Hungarian. I am learning this language because I have faith that the gospel of Jesus Christ will be able to bless many lives in Hungary. I live my faith by striving as hard as I can to always serve others, to always turn outwards. I live my faith by accepting the healing power of repentance in my life, and using that great power to change and become more Christ-like. I live my faith by trying to become more like Christ.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Pray. Sincerely pray to God asking and seeking truth. God will answer you as you sincerely seek and desire the truth. Read the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and another testiment of Christ. You can know it is true by reading it and praying about it (see Moroni 10:3-5). As you come to know it is true and read from it, you will also come to know that Joseph Smith was a prophet, Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer, and that this church contains the fulness of Jesus Christ's gospel. You will also come to learn the answers to many challenging life questions, like who you are, where you came from, why you are here on Earth, and where you are going. As you pray, read the Book of Mormon, and make changes in your life that the spirit prompts you to as you read and pray, God will help you feel the sweet peaceful truthfulness of this gospel. Your life and those around you will be blessed immensly. Show more Show less
