Hi I'm Indago

I'm going on a mission. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am getting ready to serve a mission in Recife, Brazil very soon. My younger brother is currently serving his mission in Capetown, South Africa. I love my family very much, and have 3 younger siblings. We are all very good friends and get along very well. I try to better myself every day, and strive to be a good example to my brothers and sister.

Why I am a Mormon

I moved wards when I was about 13 and didn't want to go to church because I didn't know anybody. The Young Women heart attacked me one day and so I decided to go to the new ward. It was very hard at first, meeting new people and making friends, but it happened. In high school I grew and gained a testimony of the church, I tasted of it's sweetness, and I knew of it's truth. Joseph Smith was a true prophet, called of God, who did restore the gospel. I have never doubted that the church is true. I fell away for about a year, and I know how it is on both sides. When I was living the ways of the world, my life was dark. I was sad. Lonely. Unhappy. I knew something was missing. I could feel it, almost physically. I started going back to church. At first, it was very very hard. I felt worthless, alone, stupid, whenever I'd pull in to the parking lot. But I knew it was right. One day I was at church, feeling low, and I prayed that I would not feel that feeling anymore. Almost instantly, the weight was lifted and I felt lighthearted and happy to be there. I know this church is true. If you want to know, you need to find out for yourself. My life is remarkably so much better, lighter, easier, when I live the gospel and try to be like Christ. It's still hard, but I know it is worth it. I know Jesus Christ lived and died for us all, and that without him we cannot make it back. He loves us more than we can comprehend. I love this gospel and this church. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I go to church. I currently don't have a calling and I work too much to go to the extracurrilaur activites, like Relief Society night, but I do try. I try to read my scriptures and pray everyday. I try to be a good example to those around me.
