Hi I'm Becky Ann Kerr

I'm a Mormon. Born in Kingsville, Texas. I now live in Bellevue, WA. I am very much in love w/my eternal companion. I love my life

About Me

I may have been born into the church, but, I had to find out for myself who I am and what I believe. I have a strong work ethic. I raised 2 beautiful girls. I will be a grandmother again in 6 weeks. I love people and give my heart willingly. I love being married. I am very much in love with my eternal companion. After high school I started to work and still continue. I had an opportunity at the age of 16 to finish hours to complete beauty school. I did not renew my license, but, enjoy giving free haircuts, color hair on my friends. I taught my dear friend how to cut & color hair. We traded services. I love to barter. I love to cook. I am not a great cook, but, I can cook some mean chicken enchilades. I enjoy life and I love the peace I feel knowing who I am, where I came from and where I could go.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was introduced to the gospel while she was still expecting with me. After I was born my Mom was baptized into the church. As mentioned before, I may have been born in the faith, I had to find out for myself. I am not one that walks blindly. I walk by faith. I pray. I listen. I asked for myself if this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was true. I felt it as strong as a shock to my soul. Yet, it was clear, crystal clear and comforting. A warm blanket feeling that came over me. I have chosen to be a part of this religion for the simple reason that I asked and found out for myself. No one has ever forced me to chose. As I mature, I realize that being part of this church is a way of living. Not a religion. It is a way of being true to yourself, even when no one is looking. I love the word integrity. I choose to do what is right even when no one else around me will. I know for myself that being part of this membership is more than just being another Latter Day Saint. At the end of my day I answer to my Heavenly Father. I desire to be true to myself. My church teaches correct, true, wise, clear ways to be better and do better. I know with every sinew in my body that what I believe is true and real. I do not have to see it. I feel it. I am grateful to be virtually aware of who I can become. I am grateful to be grounded and not wandering thru this world.

How I live my faith

I have enjoyed being a part of any thing that is for a good cause. I love to organize and help others that stand in need. I love to be part of an organization that is not for the monetary returns. I enjoy helping with the food banks, the aid for other countries by helping put together survival packets. I enjoy teaching and find that I learn more from preparing lessons. I enjoy being part of the largest woman's organization.
