Hi I'm Sue

I love to spend time with my family, my horse, and playing in the dirt making beautiful landscaping. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in the Arizona desert but my favorite plants are Hawaiian tropicals, which I continue to try and grow. I love playing in the dirt and growing plants of all kinds, the more colorful the better. I have a horse that helps me to destress my busy life. I love to listen to music and I play the piano, harp, and currently learning the organ. I love hummingbirds and have enjoyed the fact that we have a couple of them that stay near our yard all year long. We have had a couple of nests but no babies that I know of. I am a mom of 6 kids, work partime at a high school where I get paid to grow plants for others, and volunteer at the temple gardens.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family and have always believed in the teachings of the Mormon religion. I am truly happiest and can feel the spirit of Jesus Christ with me when I read scriptures and listen to religious music. My mother was close to death several times in her life and she would tell us of family members that came to take her to heaven. I know that Jesus Christ came to earth and died for us that we might live again with him. I know that He will come to earth again in the future.

How I live my faith

I try to volunteer to help others that need some extra help. I volunteer at the temple gardens. I have a friend that I take to appointments and shopping because she doesn't have a car. I try to be available to help others if I can. I hope that I am a good example and influence to those around me. I am trying to help set up a neighborhood block watch program at the present time.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Sue
We do not "worship" Joseph Smith. We revere and admire Joseph Smith because he was willing to accept the responsibility of restoring the church that Jesus Christ had organized when he lived on the earth. I admire Joseph Smith because he was always true to his testimony no matter what persecution he faced for the life he lived. Show more Show less
