Hi I'm Kelsey Fillmore

I am a missionary! Along with being a ranch hand, sister, friend, and disciple of Jesus Christ.

About Me

I love life. :) I am an avid learner and love the sciences and ranching. People also mean the most to me. I love my family, getting to know others, and making friends. Playing in the dirt, working, and being outside are things I enjoy. I choose to be happy and am excited to serve in any capacity.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a testimony of the truthfulness of Christ's gospel and I know this is what God wants me to do. I've asked Him. Although I didn't understand fully significance of my baptism and the gospel as a child, I knew that it was right, and I am grateful that I made that choice. I remember my baptism and cherish it. I also remember feeling so loved and peaceful, especially from my Heavenly Father. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. Jesus Christ is my personal Savior and Redeemer and He loves me and wants me to value and use His Atonement. Joseph Smith was called as a prophet of God, and through Him Christ's church was restored again to the earth. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and is the means by which I have received many answers to my questions I asked my Heavenly Father. My testimony and commitment, to me, is a miracle, but it was not gained miraculously. The answers to my questions in life through prayer have been answered quietly, powerfully, and over time through experiences . I have found much joy and comfort in turning to the Lord in my life, and have had very simple sweet experiences that confirm the truth that I know to be true. The true gospel is on the earth today, I am a member of Christ's church, and I want to share the happiness and knowledge that I have with others so they can feel the same way.

How I live my faith

I strive to live what I believe each day at a time. This comes through in large part within the small every day details of my life. I seek to make the right decisions, be consistent in my spiritual habits, and love and serve the people around me.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Kelsey Fillmore
To me, everything denotes there is a God. However, some things that bear witness to my soul that He is there are: The people I come into contact with. The opportunities that only could have come about in a certain way. The love I feel. Nature. The blessing of the Bible and the Book of Mormon, the word of God.
