Hi I'm Jason

I'm a Mormon. I'm also an art director, husband, avid college football fan and former Walt Disney World cast member.

About Me

I grew up in a family of eight children. I am the second oldest and the oldest boy. We lived all over the country as my dad was in the Air Force and then an Air Traffic Controller. Up to this point I've lived in Colorado, Idaho, Utah, Florida, Oklahoma, Massachusetts, South Carolina and Arizona. I served my mission in Paris, France. I really loved being a part of another culture and learning to love the French people. Someday I'll make it back and rediscover the beauty and richness I enjoyed while there. I'm a big Disney fan and grew up wanting to be a part of the magic. I was lucky to be a cast member at Walt Disney World four different times. I started in merchandise in Tomorrowland, went to Front Desk/Guest Services at the Port Orleans Resort, then went to attractions in Fantasyland and finished as a Guest Relations Host at City Hall in The Magic Kingdom. One of my hobbies is visiting college football stadiums. Over the years I've been to many of them. From Miami to Michigan, I've seen some of the best and most historic stadiums in the country.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. I grew up knowing we were different and that we had standards that many of my friends did not. I never really questioned the truthfulness of the gospel, but there came a time when I had to get some real answers for myself. I had some extremely challenging times on my mission, but those struggles led me to the realization that I know the gospel is true. Being a member of the church has brought me so much happiness and gives me a reason to try and always be better. I know our Heavenly Father loves us and want's us to return to live with him and our families. The greatest happiness and best memories of my life have been with the people I love. That's what I work hard for everyday and it's why the church means so much to me. Life is full of challenges and heartbreak, but there is also hope and joy. Although I'm still learning, the gospel helps me to know who I am and who I can become.

How I live my faith

I live my faith simply. I try to be considerate of others. Stand up for what's right and fill the world with goodness. My wife and I teach one of the youth classes each Sunday, which is a big responsibility. We're trying to help each of them find out who they are and understand the Savior's love for them. I try to live the gospel and let people see the happiness it brings me. I hope that in living this way, people will be able to see a part of the Savior and the kindness and love he has for each of us.
