Hi I'm Tyler

I am a skier, I am a College Student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a junior in college studying international business. I, like many college students, am uncertain about what I hope to do with my degree but, I am confident I will get it figured out in the next year and a half before graduation. I speak fluent Spanish, which I learned while teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Yucatan Peninsula. I love skiing, flying, backpacking with my Dad, and spending time with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Mormon faith. My parents taught me from a young age what it means to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I have done my best to follow Him. I know that when I live his teachings I am a happier person. I have faith in the future, no matter how bleak it may appear, I know it will all turn out all right as long as I live the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by my serving others and attending my church meetings. In addition to my normal college classes I also attend religion classes, called Institute, five days a week. I live my faith by being happy and kind to those I come in contact with on a daily basis. I have received so many blessings through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the best way I know how to show gratitude for those blessings is to let people see how happy the gospel helps me to be, despite the difficulties in life.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Tyler
The Family is central to God's plan for us. It is also the most basic and perhaps most important unit of society. It is within our families that we learn to interact and behave properly in society. We also believe the family is important of learning to love, share, and serve. We believe that families are not just an integral part of this life but, also the next. When founded on the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ the family can be eternal or in other words, we can live together forever in the presence of God. Show more Show less
