Hi I'm David

I am a husband and a father. I love cycling and the outdoors. I am a graphic designer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an Arizonan, born and raised. My father is from Colombia South America and my mother from Butte Montana. I am the oldest of three. I am married and I have four great children ranging in age from 7 to 18 years old, two boys and two girls. I served a mission for my church in Spain and after attended school to become a graphic designer. I own my own design firm and love to help my clients grow their businesses. I love to teach the youth about the outdoors, hiking, climbing, backpacking. Cycling is a passion of mine.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church my entire life, I have always felt it was true. I have seen how the gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me joy and blessed my family. Understanding the plan that Jesus has for us has helped me and my children to avoid so many pitfalls that can be found in this world. Many times in my life I have seen people change their lives because they come to know their Savior. In this church there exists the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Every aspect of the gospel ties together and builds a truly wonderful foundation for us to grow and have joy in this life and for eternity. I know that God loves and knows each of us personally and that he is aware of our needs. I know that this church is put on the earth to bless us and to guide us back to His eternal presence as His sons and daughters.

How I live my faith

I live in a community with a lot of families, we have wonderful neighbors. I help coach my son's soccer team, I volunteer in the Boy Scouts of America in the district and on the unit level. Working with and teaching these young men is so great. In my church I volunteer as a teacher and serve as a priesthood leader where I help with events and activities for the members, provide direction and serve the needs of the members in our area. I often have the opportunity to teach through speaking and lecture assignments which I have come to enjoy. But my favorite thing to do is to teach the youth in the outdoors while on hiking trips. It can be so amazing to feel and see the power of God in nature and see how it can teach the gospel just by experiencing it. I try to care and lookout for my neighbors. I value honesty in my business and in my life as something that is priceless. I don't use profanity, I don't attend R-rated movies, I try to eat healthy and exercise. I strive to be patient and kind to all. I try to be a good example to my family, my neighbors and all those that I work with. I try to follow the example of my Savior.
