Hi I'm Jeff

I'm a Law Student. I'm a husband and father. I'm a tennis player. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a law student. I am married, with a little boy --one year old. I grew up in Sandy, Utah and then served my mission to Novosibirsk, Russia. After I returned from my mission, I met my wife and we got married soon thereafter. I worked for several years while I attended BYU. I studied Russian and Political Science. We moved to attend Law School. Soon after moving our son was born. He is the highlight of my life. I am a avid sports fan. My favorite sport is whatever is in season; however my "real" favorite sport is Tennis. I love to read. I love Russian Literature, especially Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, and Gogol. I love to travel, especially to Europe. I also enjoy History, especially the American Revolution.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel very fortunate to have been born a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Despite being born into the Church, I developed my own testimony through many experiences. I have found so much peace in the teachings and the doctrines of the Church. I know that Jesus Christ is my savior. I know that we are children of our Heavenly Father, and that he has a plan for us. That plan is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. It brings me such peace and comfort to know that I can return to his presence, and be with him, and with my family for eternity. I am grateful to have the Knowledge that God has restored his Church here on the Earth, and that there is a Living Prophet who can receive revelation and guide and direct the Church.

How I live my faith

Being a member of this Faith, means being active. As a member of the Church I have had many experiences to give and share of my time. I have spent most of my time teaching. I have taught mostly taught the youth, and have found this to be very satisfying experience. Of course one of the highlights of my membership in the Church is the two years I spent in Russia serving a mission. While in Russia I spent the majority of my time teaching people about our Faith. This was the most satisfying experience of my life, as I watched peoples lives change. Additionally I spent time giving service in various capacities, and also taught English classes.
