Hi I'm Erica

I am a nurse. I am Mexican-American. I am a mother. I grew up in a Spanish speaking church. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a large family. We are all extremely close and my family is very important to me. I have a degree in nursing and plan to continue with my education to receive a nurse practitioner degree. I have had two children and have been able to balance work, family, and church responsibilities all while attending school.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I have felt the Spirit strengthen me in everything I do. I have worked full time, taken care of two children and attended school full time. I know I would not have been able to accomplish any of my goals without the Lords help. There were times when I was out of time to study and all I could do was get down on my knees and pray for the Lords help in passing a test. I have had days when I felt I had no energy to accomplish all that was on my plate but some how I was able to get through everything with prayer. I know Heavenly Father knows me personally and knows what I need and want in my life. Through living the gospel of the church I have been blessed with everything I may need and want in life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday through showing love and compassion to my fellow man. I see each person as a child of God. I appreciate each gift we have to offer one another. I am able to serve those around me by being the friend who listens. I try to be a good friend and treat others as I want to be treated. We all have struggles but Heavenly Father has put each of us here to help one another.
