Hi I'm Carren

I live in Colorado. I love to share my musical talents with others and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of four wonderful boys. We lived in Saudi Arabia for the first ten years of our married life, then moved back to the United States. We were able to travel the globe and see all the wonderful people and places this world has to offer. I like to play/teach the piano and believe that all people should have the chance to develop their talents - that's why we have them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe very strongly in His gospel and that it was truly restored to this earth by the Prophet Joseph Smith. I believe in these teachings with all my heart. I have had experiences in my life where these have been tested and can truly say without any doubt that they are indeed the teachings of Jesus Christ. I know that we are led by a prophet today who receives inspiration from the Lord relevant to our trials in this day and age. I do not believe in tearing down any other religion as we are all able to worship how we see fit.

How I live my faith

I participate in my community by volunteering at the high school and specifically the band program. I have the calling as the music chairman in our congregation and thoroughly enjoy that because this is what my background is. I play the piano for the children's meetings also. I believe that each person should be able to share their talents, whatever they are, in whatever they do.

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

Carren
We believe that death is not the end. Death is just a step in the plan of our Heavenly Father for His children. Everyone's physical body will die, but your spirit does not die. Your spirit goes to the spirit world, where we will continue to learn and progress and to be with our loved ones who have passed on. I have family who has passed on to the other side and they are watching over me. I feel their presence in my life. We believe that our bodies and our spirits will one day be reunited to never be separated again. This is called resurrection, made possible by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
