Hi I'm Donna

I've lived in Arizona all my life. I'm a mother of three. I'm a happily married wife. I'm in love with life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've grown up all my life here in Arizona. I've done general studies in college but have yet to complete a degree. I have been married to my wonderful husband since August of 2002. We have two boys and another little bundle on the way. I am blessed enough to be able to stay at home with my children while my husband is hard at work. I also earn a little extra money working from home. I have a large extended family and enjoy spending as much time with them as well. I enjoy anything outdoors, running when I can, going to the movies, shopping, crafting and just being with my family. I just love having fun and not being too serious in life.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up a Mormon was pretty simple. Most of my family are members of the church and that made it an easy decision to be baptized at eight years old. I grew up in a great ward (local congregation) and have many happy memories of things church related. As I went off to college and grew into adulthood, I decided it was my time to truly be converted on my own. I was diligent with reading my scriptures daily and praying for the truthfulness of the gospel to be revealed to be. After a short time of study and prayer my answer came. There was no way that I could deny the truthfulness of the gospel after that. I couldn't have been any happier. I always knew that I was doing the right thing but now I had a deep testimony of my own. I am still striving every day to learn more of the gospel and Jesus Christ. I want my testimony to continually grow stronger and for my children to know that it is true as well. I love the happiness and peace that comes when I am following God's commandments. I want to make my father in Heaven proud of me and show him that I trust in his every word. It's not always easy, but I know that it is right and that I will some day see all the glory that comes with true obedience.

How I live my faith

As a member of my ward I am currently serving as the First Counselor in the Primary Presidency. In the Primary we teach children ages 3-11 the principles of the church and help them to know their Savior Jesus Christ. I help plan and organize activities and also teach lessons on Sundays. I love the children. Sometimes I think that they are teaching me more than I am them. I am always willing to accept a new calling in the church. I will do all I can to help out in my ward or in any way that is asked of me. On a daily basis I am living my faith by trying to better myself as a person. I know that I have much to learn and give to others. I try to be a good example to all those around me. I try especially hard to show my children what it means to have a testimony. I hope that all people who meet me will have positive feelings about the church and what it means to be a Mormon. My most recent personal goal is to be a better missionary and share my testimony with others.
