Hi I'm Heather

I love my family, I'm crazy about kids and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I’m a retired model, flight attendant, and dental office manager. I’m a wife, mother of three and grandmother of ten. My husband and I live winters near our five granddaughters and summers near our five grandsons. We love it! Being a part of our children's adult lives and their children's lives is a fulfillment and joy we never could have imagined. Grandparenthood is the best! I love the outdoors (God did such a great job:), traveling, reading and especially football. I love good dance, theater and music and delight in any talent where God's gifts are on display.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a follower of Jesus Christ, and I believe in my faith with all my heart. I have always felt extremely blessed to have been raised on His teachings. I am enormously grateful for the religious community in which I live, and where I have raised my family. The people of this church, although human and imperfect, live with a prevailing earnestness in their desire to follow Christ. The teachings and practices of the church have provided a sustaining, healing and nurturing environment, not only spiritually but in every facet of my life. It has taught me to walk in faith, commitment, love and service. It has challenged me to learn, to improve, to excel. It has asked me to live with compassion and benevolence. Very simply...I value these virtues! I know how they can bless the lives of every child of God.

How I live my faith

Most importantly, I try to treat others the way I would hope to be treated. I try to step up and volunteer when another needs my help. I try to keep the Lord's commandment and the promises I have made to the Lord to do my best to live a good life. I have been blessed to be able to serve. As our church has a lay ministry, we are all called upon to lead, teach and serve. I have worked with the adult women in our church, the youth, and my favorite, the children. I have been a part of committees that have provided enrichment, social interaction, and service to the community. It has enabled me to share the talents God has given me. My husband and I are currently preparing to serve a full time mission. We're excited, but humble knowing we can never repay God for all the blessings He has given us.
