Hi I'm Amy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 5 and a wife. I am the oldest daughter with 4 brothers. I am an aunt, sister in law and friend to many. I am a homemaker and I love being that. I am home with my kids, and home when my husband comes home. I love to sing and read. I enjoy learning new ways to beautify my home and make inexpensive gifts for family members. I was married in in the Mt. Timpanogos Mormon Temple in 1998 to my sweetheart and by being married there we are eternal companions. My 5th child passed away July 12. 2010 from unknown causes and we are very thankful that we are an eternal family so that we can see him again and raise him. He was only 17 months old and we miss him very much.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because first of all I was raised a Mormom. Second of all I have a Testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. I know Thomas S. Monson is a Prophet of God and I know that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God and he was key in the restoration of the church. I Know i am a daughter of God and I know that my Father in Heaven loves me and watches over me. I know that through the gospel of Jesus Christ i will one day return to my Father in Heaven and be reunited with my loved ones and be able to be a family forever. I believe in this gospel with all my heart and when I lost my son this gospel gave me the strength and courage to go on with my life without him. The gospel lessened my hurt because of the amazing concepts it teacehs about eternal families. I have a Testimony of The Book of Mormon and of it's truth. I believe with all my heart that it was written by prophets of old for our benefit. To teach us the gospel and strengthen our testimonies. I Love this Gospel and will always strive to do my very best to follow the teachings of my Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday. I have worked in many different capacities in our church. I have worked with Children from the ages of 11/2 to 12 and also the older youth from 13 to 18. I have talk classes about bringing the spirit into our homes to women of all ages. I have taught classes on beautifying our home to make it a comforting environment and to let the spirit of The Holy Ghost reside there. I have helped make directories of the members of our Ward so that we may all stay in touch and help one another. I have Visiting taught and made lasting friendships through sharing the Gospel. I have helped prepare meals for families who have suffered the loss of a loved one. I have helped plan and carry out activities for the youth of our church so that they will have activities to become closer to one another and to learn more of the Gospel and how to live it. I teach my children daily about the beliefs of our Religion and how to live those beliefs and how important it is to follow the teachings of our Prophet and Father in Heaven.
