Hi I'm Matt

I'm busy balancing a career, a young family, and a fulfilling life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Sales Executive for a software consulting company. I manage a hectic schedule of work, family, friends, and community. I love to laugh and to be with people who love life. My wife and family are my best friends. I am grateful for my life.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was newly married I remember being scared to death of having kids and raising a happy family. I wanted those things but I didn't feel I knew anything about being a good husband or father. How could I ever be wise enough or work hard enough to be able to give them what they needed? You can't just "wing it" when it comes to the most important things. I've since learned that no matter what my shortcomings or lack of experience there is one way that I CAN do this, and do it pretty well. With the help of Jesus Christ in my life, and through his Plan for me, I can be better than I could ever dream of being alone. I'm a Mormon because it makes me a better man. A happier, better man.

How I live my faith

I love teaching kids. I make time every week to volunteer at church and in my community as a scout leader, a coach, a mentor. I've enjoyed teaching early morning bible study classes to high school students before they go to school. I've been able to work with dozens of kids in the Boy Scouts. Camping, hiking, learning life skills. Kids are amazing. I find ways to include my family in my interests and to be included in their hobbies and lives as well. Whatever they do, I want to be right there for them. Each week my wife and I spend time together just the two of us to plan and plug back in to our marriage. Each week we spend one night as a family just to be together to work on things but mostly just to be together. Most mornings and nights we pray together as a family. This helps us to stay close and to invite the Lord to be a part of our lives. I am blessed and grateful to be a Mormon.
