Hi I'm Emma.

I'm a wife of an amazing man, I'm a mother of 3 great kids, I'm a military wife, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 27 years old. I'm a wife and a mother to 3 wonderful kids. My husband is in the Army, so we get to move a lot, which sometimes is hard for me. I grew up in one place and hadn't ever moved until I married my husband. But, I've come to love getting to see new places and meet new people. This is something I would have never experienced if I hadn't married my husband. I love crafting, photograpghy, learning new things and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. It was something I grew up with... my parents took us to church EVERY Sunday. We read scriptures everyday together as a family. I always knew deep down it was true, but I think I truely learned for myself that the church was true when I read the Book of Mormon for myself. It is such a powerful book. I continue to recieve revelation that His church is true. I am daily reminded of it's truthfulness. With my kids being old enough to learn the primary songs, they sing them constantly and I just feel that wonderful feeling of comfort when they sing. I love that my 4 year old daughter loves to sing, "I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints" every where we go. It is my testimony in a nutshell- "I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know who I am, I know God's plan, I'll follow Him in faith. I believe in the Savior Jesus Christ, I'll honor His name, I'll do what is right, I'll follow His light, His truth I will proclaim!" I know I am a daughter of God. I know God lives. I am so thankful for this Gospel in my life. I'm happy for parents who taught me when I was young and still continue to be that great example to me. I love my family. I love this Gospel and the direction it gives to me. It is so inspiring. As a military wife, I mentioned that we get to move alot. I wonder sometimes what it would be like without the church. We have been so welcomed when ever we move some place new, and it makes me so thankful for the church and the members. I have an instant family away from my family. We also always have such great service offered and that is also a great example to me of how wonderful the chruch is and the members. It's given me such a strong testimony on service. I am so thankful for the church in my life, for God and Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

We just recently moved, and I have been asked to be a visiting teacher (as most women are). Visiting teaching is so important. It helps us women connect and help eachother. I have also had the wonderful experience of teaching young children in our primary- I've taught ages 3-12. I think that in most of the teaching I've done, I've learned more from the kids. They are all such strong little spirits. I also taught the young women- ages 16-18. They were such fun getting to know and work with. I am SO amazed at the things that are happening with our youth right now, and these girls are so amazing and know the truth and are such examples to all their peers. They were so inspiring to me to see how strong they were and their testimonies and that they weren't afraid to share them with their friends. I have also gotten to work with some activity planning in our wards we've been in. I love to do this!! :] We have holiday parties and it's so much fun to get to help plan and make them happen. It helps the members connect and feel more like family.
