Hi I'm Ron

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, father of five, grandfather of 18 and greatgrandfather of two so far. I am a retired partner of one of the big four accounting firms. I like to play golf and basketball. We have been playing in national and international basketball tournaments for many years. My golf handicap is five.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a firm testimony of the divinty of Jesus Christ and His atoning sacrifice for all mankind. I know He lives and that He appeared to a young man, a prophet, even Joseph Smith and gave him guidance and instructions on re-establishing His Church on the earth. This was in fulfillment of Peter's prophecy of the restuiton of all things. The priesthood or authority which had been taken from the earth was restored along with the temple ordinances. The power to bind for eternity was given to His latter-day apostles as had been done in new testament times. I love the simiplicity of the gospel and the eternal principles thereof including the family can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I have been active and involved in the church since my early youth. I went to the British Mission as a young man and served with my wife of 52 years on a senior couples mission. I strive to live in harmony with the teachings of our savior Jesus Christ. My responsibilites in the church have included teaching and working with the youth, being a Bishop and home teaching of families. My family and my church are my highest prioities.
