Hi I'm Sara

I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, an aunt, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the eighth of nine children. My parents taught me everything good in the world. I went to college at Brigham Young University and studied History and Spanish. I served a mission in Madrid, Spain. I married my best friend. At first I thought, you know, he is pretty lucky to marry me. And very quickly I realized that I am the lucky one. He has spent the last ten years taking care of me, teaching me, and loving me. I am so blessed. I have one beautiful daughter. She is so funny, and kind, and helpful. My mother passed away this year. I am so grateful for my knowledge of the Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because I believe its teachings with all my heart. I have felt peace, guidance, support and a witness in my heart that it is true. It makes sense to my mind, and brings joy to my heart. I am so grateful for a prophet, for scriptures, for prayer, for our Savior and for the peace guidance of the Holy Spirit.

How I live my faith

I finally realized something that has taken me 35 years to figure out. I am a good person. I want to be good. I want to be kind and helpful and giving and selfless and faithful. I want to be like my Savior. I try to make the right choice in all my decisions, from little everyday things to my lifelong path. I fall short almost every time. I can be more patient, more softspoken, more trusting in the Lord. But I want to follow His example. He is my guide and I truly want to be like Him.
