Hi I'm Tammie

I converted to the church when I was in my early 30's. I am a wife, mother, grandmother and an accountant. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, a mother of 3, and grandmother to the most wonderful grand daughter. I work fulltime outside the home as an accountant. I love to bake, cook, scrapbook, sew or maybe I should say I love to do just about any craft project. I grew up being told not to open the door for a LDS missionaries or I would never be able to get rid of them. After my divorce and a 2 state move, I decided to contact the church to find out more about it. After a couple of months I was baptized in the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because living the gospel of Jesus Christ is what is right and it makes me happy! When I keep the commandments and center my life on Jesus Christ and His church I feel the Holy Ghost in my life. This continuing confirmation by the Holy Ghost of the things that I am doing in my life is the main reason why I am a member of the Church. God is the same yesterday, today, and in the future. Also, I have always believed that families are eternal and that there is more to our existence than just this life. I love the morals the church teaches, the spirit I feel and the family togetherness the church promotes.

How I live my faith

I stay busy with family and work. I live my life for my god and family. I live my Faith, trying to do better everyday following the example of Jesus Christ by reading the scriptures, praying, keeping the commandments, attending church and fulfilling my church calling. I try to live as best that I know how and to treat others kindly.
