Hi I'm Sarah

I am a mom of 4. I love music. My children are the most important thing to me in the whole world! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a mom of 4 beautiful children. 2 boys and 2 girls. My children and my husband are my greatest treasures. I am not a perfect mom, but my children's well-being is more important to me than anything else in this world! I am a piano teacher and I love it! Music is such an important part of life I want to help others learn to love the sweet feeling of creating beautiful music to share with others. I am currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments for cancer. This has to be the hardest thing I've ever done. Through this experience I am learning to allow others to help me, to find the small joys in life, to enjoy every living moment with my children, and to be rely on my Heavenly Father in the moments I'm not sure I can endure. The growth that is happening for myself and my family through this experience is something I wouldn't trade for the world. I have learned that through hard things we grow.

Why I am a Mormon

I know my Savior lives! I am a mormon because the lifestyle of being a mormon brings me closer to my Savior, Jesus Christ. Every doctrine, principle and action we live and do as members of this church leads us to Christ. We are taught to follow his example. We share our testimony of Him as we strive to serve others and live to become more like him.

How I live my faith

I am privileged to work with the 3 year olds in the church. During the Savior's ministry, even in his most exhausting moments, he said "let the little children come unto me." I know that when the Savior comes again, he will spend time among the children. I LOVE working with these special little people and teaching them of the love their Heavenly Father and elder brother Jesus Christ have for them. I strive daily to teach my own children of their elder brother Jesus Christ. Every evening before I tuck my children into bed, we read scriptures and discuss the doctrines taught in the scriptures. Then we kneel together in prayer thanking our Heavenly Father for the blessings he gives to us and asking him for special blessings that we need. This helps me to grow and helps my children to understand from a very young age where they came from and what they are striving to live for. Every morning before I send my family off into the world, we kneel in prayer asking our Heavenly Father to attend us in all that we do. This gives each member of my family the strength to face the daily trials of this life. Once a week on Monday evenings, no matter what our busy schedule is, we have an evening set aside to spend time together as a family. We call this family home evening. This time spent together allows us to regroup and make family a priority. We discuss gospel principals, play games, eat treats and enjoy each other's company. This is a confidence building time for each of my kids and keeps our life's perspective centered around our family.
