Hi I'm Bruce

I design electronics for cellphones. I have a wonderful wife and 9 children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Since I was in middle school I knew I wanted to be an electrical engineer. I received a BS degree in Computer Engineering and have been loyally working for a large electronics company for over 23 years. I enjoy tinkering with computers and electronics. I enjoying gardening and seeing what kind of vegetables I can grow and how to do it better the next time. I met my sweetheart in college, and we've been married for 24 years and have 9 children, 1 granddaughter, and a grandson on the way. Two of my older children are now serving in the military.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with several mormon friends, although I never quite knew their religion very much. I did know by their example that they were very family oriented and had a strong faith in Christ. When I met my wife in college, she helped a lot in introducing me to the gospel. Although I grew up in a different faith, as I learned more about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I recognized that my actual beliefs were more aligned to what they were teaching than what I had grown up with. After reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it, the Holy Ghost confirmed to me of its truthfulness, and I now knew the path that would lead me to a wonderful future and family. The blessings of the Gospel and of the Temple have strengthened our marriage and as helped us to overcome trials and to always have a positive outlook on life.

How I live my faith

I am the clerk in our ward and have been so for over 13 years. I have enjoyed working with the different leaders throughout these years and providing service to the members. I also teach a lesson to the brethren on a monthly basis. I feel great joy and motivation in being able to provide service to others.
