Hi I'm Danielle

I'm a sustainability student, I love to be outdoors, I'm a future CNA, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My twin sister and I are the oldest of eight kids, all born and raised in Arizona. Education wise, I went to a charter school, got my GED, spent a year in college studying theater design, and recently switched to a major in sustainability. I have worked as: a retail team member in a fitting-room, a stage hand and sound designer in various back-stages and sound booths, the graveyard shift at a senior care home (in which I rented out one of the rooms), and as a volunteer English teacher in Moscow, Russia (no, I don't speak Russian, but that would be cool). I am currently a work-study student making copies for the staff at my community college. I love many types of art, music, and people. My favorite activities include camping, drawing, rock climbing, being with my family and friends, and eating food. My all-time favorite book is Frankenstein by Mary Shelly, and my favorite poet is Alfred, Lord Tennyson.

Why I am a Mormon

My religion is a major element of my daily life. It is what keeps me going, what makes me happy, what helps me realize that everything we go through in this life is worth it. I know that I am a daughter of God, just as we are all children of God, and that He has a deep, eternal, everlasting love for each of us. I have a personal testimony of Jesus Christ and the Atonement. He has guided me throughout my life and personally answered my prayers. I have felt and experienced the blessings of this gospel in my life as I live faithfully and do my best to serve those around me.

How I live my faith

I love to sing! I come to church early every Sunday to practice with the choir. I sing hymns around my home while I do chores, and to my youngest brother when I tuck him in at night. When I'm not singing, I am visiting with sisters in my ward, visiting the temple, or reading my scriptures. Every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, after my math class, I attend a class at the Institute of religion across the street from my college campus. I love to share information about my church with others, my friends all know I love to talk about the things that make me happy!
