Hi I'm Tina

I am a mother of "3" beautiful children,an Army Wife and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. I have been a Mormon all my life. I love children especially babies. I started watching kids when I was 11 yrs old. I have had the opportunity to nanny for four different families. I have had the opportunity to become a Doula (a laboring companion) and have been able to help bring many babies into this world. I enjoy taking family vacations every year. We are a military family so we move often, giving us the opportunity to explore lots of different places. I love to take pictures and scrapbook all our memories. I Love to paper craft. I also enjoy volunteering in my children’s school and in various other positions within the Army Family Readiness groups. I love being a stay at home mother and wife. I hope to continue my college education and get a degree in Family& Human Development.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know this Church is True. I know the things I have been taught as a little girl by my parents are true. I have studied and found out for myself. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know an angel talked with Joseph Smith and through the Holy Ghost the Book of Mormon was translated. The Book of Mormon was translated for our time (right now). We can learn and grow so much from reading the scriptures. Many answers to my prayers are answered by reading the Book of Mormon. My family has been richly blessed by reading the Book of Mormon every morning. It's so nice to have a living prophet to help guide us TODAY!! We have the opportunity to hear from our living prophet twice a year in General Conference. (April and October. ) I'm so very grateful that Our Elder Brother Jesus Christ came to this earth and died for me. (For Us) That when we make a mistake we can repent. We can be clean and whole again. Not only did he die for our sins but he suffered for us. Christ carried our burdens. He carried our anger, and our sorrow, He is there for us 24 hours a day 7 days a week. WE only need to talk with him. Get down on our knees and talk with him. One of the things I teach my children is to communicate with him. Make Christ one of your best friends. Talk to him as often as you can. He will help and guide you. All you have to do is start the conversation. Christ wants to talk with us. He wants to help and bless us. We all have trials in our life things that we find difficult. Life is so much easier knowing that Heavenly Father has a plan for us. If we just follow that plan keep the commandments, keep our baptismal covenants, attend the temple, and read our scriptures. The Holy Ghost will be our constant companion and he will help us . I’m so very grateful that I am a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It truly is a blessing my life.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to serve in many different areas of the Church. I am currently serving in the meeting with the Children ages 3-11 it’s called Primary. Primary is a meeting that is two hours long. One of the hours is a lesson with their teachers. Children are in different classes based on their age. The second hour includes singing time and a sharing time. I have the opportunity to teach the kids during sharing time. I enjoy my time teaching the children. I also get to help with Activity Days. This is for girls age 8-11. They meet bi weekly and have fun working on their “Faith in God” and have lots of different activities. My Son is in Scouts so I also have many opportunities to help him and other boys ages 8-11 earn awards and merit badges. I also have the opportunity to go and visit women of the ward. I get to take a special treat and lesson to them. I get to listen to them and what’s going on in their lives. I also have the opportunity to serve them and help them out in their time of need. Making a meal, watching their kids, taking them to a doctor apt etc. Whatever they need help with. I pray and read scriptures with my family every single day. (I also do personal prayers and scripture study.) We have family home evening every week. We try very hard to keep the commandments and attend the temple. We attend our chruch meeting everyweek.
