Hi I'm Tiana

I love to snowboard, I'm an Education student at ASU and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family and I love my education. Going to school is such a blessing for me-- because I am able to strengthen myself and learn so many things that I can share with others. Everything I do, I do to benefit my current and future families. I also love spending time with my friends, whether that's while longboarding, snowboarding, fishing, or just plain hanging out, I can always feel great when I am surrounded by good people who love me and want to help me grow.

Why I am a Mormon

I converted to the church when I was 11 years old because I could see my LDS friends have a kind of light in their eyes that I wanted. None of my family were members, but when I became interested my mom wanted to hear about it.. and ended up falling in love with the gospel too. Today, the gospel is my life. My ward is my family away from home, and the beautiful temple not far from where I live is one of my favorite places to visit, because the grounds are so amazing. I feel so much more complete knowing my place in this world as my Heavenly Father's daughter.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving others. As Christ reigned upon the Earth, he served so many people and blessed so many lives, whether they were friends, family, or complete strangers. This is the example I strive to follow. When I help others in any way I can, whether that's by preparing a meal, spending time with children, or even just lending a listening ear, I know I am showing love to my fellow man, and in turn showing love to my Heavenly Father.

What is the Law of Chastity?

The Law of Chastity is a rule we have set for ourselves as members of the Church to stay sexually clean and whole before marriage. We believe that when we save that special part of ourselves for our spouse, we are showing respect to our selves that each and every one of us is special sons and daughters of God, and not only should, but DESERVE to be cherished as people with beautiful souls, instead of just judged by appearance.
