Hi I'm Trevor

I am from a small town in Arizona called Snowflake. I love sports anything active and hanging out with my family and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in a small town and went to a relatively small high school. I graduated in 2007. Life for me has always been about family. I love my family. I have 4 brothers and 1 sister and 7 nieces and nephews. We have lots of get togethers and cook outs. So basically i love spending time with my family. In April 2010 i married the love of my life! We are very happy together. We are expecting our first daughter in February. We are very excited and anxious about this. It will be a new adventure that we will meet with eagerness and happiness!

Why I am a Mormon

When i was a boy my parents sat me down and asked me if i wanted to be baptized. The Church was not new to me. Both my parents are members and my 3 older siblings had been baptized before me. I was eager to be baptized. I wouldn't say that I fully understood what baptism meant but I was excited for the new step. Since the day I was baptized, I have never once regretted the decision. It was a decision that changed my life forever. I wasn't baptized for my parents or brothers or sister, I was baptized for me. I know it was the right decision to make. The Gospel is true! I know it is. When i graduated high school i left right away to serve a mission. I served in Siberian Russia. The thought of serving in Russia never crossed my mind until I opened that letter and saw the words on the page. The experiences i had in Russia were amazing. I wouldn't exchange them for the world. I returned home in July of 2009. Now i would like to share with you the main reason that I love being a Mormon. I get to live with my family forever. There is no til death do us part! After this life is over I can see my family again. Not just my immediate family but my extended family as well. As I said in my about me section I love being with my family. The feeling of being able to be with my family is the best thing that I can think of. I married my wife in April 2010 and I am so grateful that I can spend forever with her. I know this Church is true! The Book of Mormon is true scripture given to us by God. I know that God has called a prophet in these days. Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and he opened the door for the Book of Mormon to be brought forth. I know that Jesus Christ is the son of God and that He is our Savior. I know that through Him we can return to live with our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

In the Church we have the youth programs that we use and support. One of those programs is the Cub Scout program. My wife and I are the leaders of the Bear den. That is the boys of ages 9 to 10. We meet once a week and learn about a variety of things. Anything from whittling to orienteering to knot tying to cooking. These boys are very amazing young men. The things that they can accomplish astounds me every time i see the accomplish a new goal.
