Hi I'm Linda

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My most important relationships are as a wife, mother of six children and grandmother of two. I include them in my life's adventures as a homemaker, musician, world traveler, mountain climber, canyoneer, hiker and bicycle rider. I love caring for my home, family and friends. I have degrees in English and Law, and am a certified Yoga teacher.

Why I am a Mormon

The covenants my husband and I have made in the temple bind our family together forever. Nothing is more valuable to me than our marriage, our children and their growing families. The truths we learn in the scriptures and from modern day prophets clearly guide our actions through the murkiness of our unstable world.

How I live my faith

I love helping the children, whether playing the piano while they sing, teaching songs and lessons or serving in an administrative position. I am privileged to camp with the young women nearly every summer, and accompany them on their outdoor adventures. I have played the organ in our Sunday worship service for the last 20 years, and I always appreciate those moments when my music sets the tone for Sacrament meeting. I use my home, my time and talents to help the people in my church and community, and they in turn help me and my family.

What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?

Linda
The Holy Ghost blesses me with guidance and comfort. Guidance comes from thoughts and feelings about decisions, choices and actions. These may be answers to prayers, sometimes immediate or sometimes gradually acquired over time and through much study and pondering. Sometimes guidance comes unbidden as warnings offered for protection. The comfort offered by the Holy Ghost comes to me as a profound peace when I feel discouraged or overwhelmed by the chaos of home and family responsibilities. I am blessed to have this influence with me every day. Show more Show less
