Hi I'm Denise

I am a mother, I am your neighbor, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work at the University of Phoenix, IT Project Coordinator, working on my Master's Degree, there are 8 children in my family. Ballroom dancing is my passion and I enjoy the outdoors. In my spare time, if I had any, I would devote myself to learning piano and singing Karaoke (even though I cant carry a beat)! I love the gospel and church hymns (especially primary songs!) they fill me with energy and enthusiasm! :)

Why I am a Mormon

I love how the gospel has changed my life and the life of others I love. I feel the blessings in my life and see it through my children and family and this has been a great testimony builder for me. When i accepted those missionaries into my home that night, I received a free Book of Mormon and I started reading and I couldnt put it down. It really blessed me and my family and changed my whole life for the better! Living these principles fills me heart with Joy, and I want to share this Joy with others. When I do those things that the lord commands, i feel happiness and peace and the weight is lifted off my shoulder when i put my trust in HIM. I can have the energy and the innocence of a child again! It is the most amazing thing ever. I know my heavenly father loves and cares for me and I love him too and I love that families can be together forever because families are important to us!

How I live my faith

I live my faith as I think Jesus would if he were here among us. I strive to live through the example provided us through Jesus Christ. Going to church every Sunday renews me, it is very uplifting and gives me the spiritual nourishment to get me through that long rough week of the worldly demands. It is a place to go and find peace and love and to feel the spirit so strong so that I can go home and make it also a place of refuge where my family will feel the same blessings and be an example through others. As i serve others through my church I learn how I can be a better person. Spending quality time builds strong families and that is very important to our church and to our family. One of the things we do is dedicate "family time" every Monday evening where we can be together to learn cool stuff or to go do a family activity that is geared around a spiritual message or thought to not only build strong and happy families, but to follow the teachings of our wonderful church.
