Hi I'm Mary McCombie

I love the outdoors, the arts, and people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Rocksprings, Wyoming for a short time and now live in Cheney, Washington. From the sand dunes of Wyoming to the evergreen trees in Washington, I have learned to love and appreciate the beautiful world we live in. I love hiking, camping and all things outdoors, especially if it's with friends and family. I also love shoes and clothes. I find fulfillment in interacting with other and in creating. I have a love for the art and interior design. I am a marriage and family major.

Why I am a Mormon

All my life I have been raised in the church. But as for all member states of the church, the time came where I needed to known for myself of what my parents, who, I trust love and aspire to be like, were telling me truth and leading me on the right path. Yes, I was happy, yes I was living good morals that make me a better person but I wanted to know if being a Mormon was what God wanted for me and if I were pleasing Him. As I continued to attend church and read from His word, I came to know by the sweet feelings that came from the spirit of God that the things I have and continue to learn are God's truth. I am a Member of the Chrich of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because it is what I have come to know is Jesus Christ'S true and loving church upon the earth in these latter days.

How I live my faith

In such a crazy upside down world its not enough to just say we are followers of Christ. I live my faith by reading from the word of God, especially the Book of Mormon daily and praying for direction, forgiveness, strength, and inspiration. I find joy in service. As I do these simple things I find that I am closer to my savior; I feel His presence more fully and I am happier!
