Hi I'm Andi Maughan

I am a mother of 6 children. I am also a breast cancer survivor.I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I joined the Church at age 15. I attended Ricks College and graduated in 1990. After Ricks I became a single parent. Not knowing what to do next a friend from Ricks suggested I move to , which I did. It didn't take long before I met my husband Todd. After 15 years of marriage and a total of 6 children we were sealed in the Temple in 2008. In November of 2009 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I am a talented seamstress that makes wonderful Blessing Suits and Dresses. My 6 kids are my life mostly. so I don't get out much. In other words I'm pretty Boring.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was always very against the Church. My older brother had a bad experience with other members. My Mom told Me, she would never allow my joining the Church as long as she was alive. After she pasted away when I was 15 i joined the Church. I have not always been active. But my faith has not faltered. I believe that "the Church is perfect the people are not." I have a very strong testimony about blessing for the healing of the sick. In the Last 2 years i have received many blessings. My faith in the Gospel has helped me to become a Cancer survivor not a Cancer Victim. I am very blessed to know that my children our sealed to me for time and all eternity and that we will be a family for ever.

How I live my faith

I have served callings in Primary and young womens. I loved being the Nursery leader. In fact I laughed when I went from being with 2and 3 year olds to being with 12+13 year old girls. I figured there wasn't much difference. Which at times was very true, especial with my oldest daughter be 13 at the time.
