Hi I'm Darrell

I grew up in Arizona. I lived in Mexico for 2 years. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love music. I love sports. I love to learn. I am a college student. I lived in Mexico for two years performing non-profit service for the LDS Church.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of Christ's church gives me the best return per amount of time invested (blessings). We are able to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit through Christ's Priesthood authoirty. This gift is evidenced in our lives through the fruits of the Spirit; moreover, we feel these in our daily lives, and they are joy, peace, and love (Galatians Chp.5 New Testament).

How I live my faith

I am the ward mission leader. I help the missionaries find people who are interested in becoming members of the Mormon Church.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Darrell
Because its the greatest investment in your life that you can make. If its the only true church of Christ (which it is) then it will bless your life because Christ made it. He does not need our money. We need him, so we need to be instruments in building His Kingdom on Earth so that we can benefit from it. Its a win/win situation. And it is a commandment in the Bible in the book of Malachi. Gods commandments are like parents commandments to their children. They command in what they perceive to be best for their children.
