Hi I'm Sue

I'm a Mormon. I am a convert to the church of 23 years.

About Me

I am from south Central Ky, born and reared on a tobacco farm. I was raised in a christian home, but of a different faith. My husband and I have a blended family of 5 children and 5 grandchildren. My husband is a recent convert to the church. My hobbies are reading, quilting, crocheting and reading. I love to walk. The last 8 years before I retired, I worked as Senior Center Director in Miami AZ, Bowling Green, Ky.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church after a tragic accident involving a friend of my youngest daughter. I was amazed at the way her LDS friends handled death. My daughter joined 2 months before I did. I love the peace this gospel brings. I finally found what I had searched so long for. Being a mormon is not just a religion, for me it is a way of life.

How I live my faith

I have served in the church as Stake Missionary and Sunday School Secretary. I am presently a Ward Missionary. I accept ward assignments regularly for the cannery and Temple. I am involved in Humanitarian activities and am a visiting teacher.
