Hi I'm Brian

I grew up in Utah, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I go to college and should be graduating in the next few months. I love sports, basketball, football, soccer, frisbee, etc. I love to spend time with my friends. Whether they are LDS or not. I choose to be friends with them because of who they are, not necessarily what they believe in. I'm an open and try to be a caring person. Make sure that those are me are comfortable and feel welcome in my circle of friends. I game. I love playing games, whether they are board games, card games or video games I like the competition of them all.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. So being a Mormon is something that has always been a part of me and my life. Doesn't mean it's always been easy, but it has been worth it, to me. I remember when I was younger, in my teens and I was questioning the gospel. My mother had been diagnosed with cancer and I really didn't understand why my Heavenly Father would "curse" a good person with something that could take her life. I remember thinking that bad things don't happen to good people. But as I prayed for guidance and reassurance that my mother would be OK, I remember very vividly being overwhelmed with a sense of peace and being told that everything would be OK and that HE was in charge.I had always believed that God lived but from that point on I knew that God lived and HE was in charge. I knew that the church was true, that my Heavenly Father loved me and my family regardless of the trials that were put in front of us. I know that he loves us all the same as we are all HIS children. I am very blessed to say that my mother survived and continues to live this day. I do know that we don't always get the expected result in life but I do know that Heavenly Father is always looking out for us and comforting us when we stand in need.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday, and participating in the young adult activities. I participate in church by helping others, whether that is lending a shoulder to cry on, or being the person someone can confide in or by being any kind of support to others. I try to do my best to help in whatever way I can.
