Hi I'm Sharon

I'm a mother, grandmother, and friend. I work part time, volunteer with local theatre and serve on the city council. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Sharon. I am a wife, mom, a grandmother, a co-worker, and a friend to many. I serve my community in local city government. I am active in the local community theatre. I am a Christian. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior & Redeemer. It is through Christ, & only through Christ that we can be saved & live with him & our Heavenly Father again.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. I have always known that the teachings of the church were true. I struggled to live some of the standards as a teenager. As I got into my 20's I realized how important living the gospel is. As I have met challenges in my life, my knowledge of Jesus Christ as my Savior has helped me through them. I know that Jesus died on the cross for me and everyone that is born on the earth. But more importantly, I know that he was resurrected so that I too may live again after this life. I know that he took upon him my sins, heartaches, and pain in the Garden of Gethsemane. He is my friend.

How I live my faith

I teach a before school religion class for high school students. I find that I learn so much from them. I work at the high school that my students attend. I see them being examples of righteous young men and women among their peers. I enjoy working on geneology research. And I try to be an example of a Christian in my interactions with people every day.
