Hi I'm Jason

I love to fish, love my family and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Civil Engineer and design fish ladders and large water diversion projects. I've gone fishing everywhere from Alaska in the North to Mexico in the south, but Colorado is still my favorite place to be. I take my wife and four kids ice fishing in the winter, and lake fishing in the summer. The rest of the time I just wish I was fishing.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I choose to be one. It has helped me gain perspective on my life and how to raise my family.

How I live my faith

The main way I live my faith is by spending time with my wife and children. When you try to teach children about the teachings of Jesus from the scriptures, it has helped me learn simple principles that I would have missed reading with my 'grown up' mindset. For almost 4 years, I helped organize and run a youth and mens athletic league. We had a good time playing basketball, volleyball, softball, ultimate frisbee, flag football and even dodgeball. Several years ago, I taught early morning seminary. Currently I am an Assistant Scoutmaster.
