Hi I'm Rachel

I am a mother. I'm working on my bachelors degree. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother, and am loving every second of it. I'm in the process of getting my degree online from BYU but my top priority is to support my husband through graduate school. I like to sew, cook, perform, and arrange play dates for my little boy.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from a long line of pioneer heritage and was born to member parents. The church provides me with a framework of morals and goals that help me through many of the daily decisions I am faced with. As I have lived the gospel, I have come to know that these principles are true because of the happiness, and positive direction my life has taken. Although I have had challenges and sometimes am daunted by what faces me, I always know that I have God to rely on even if things don't go the way I plan. My faith in him gives me comfort.

How I live my faith

I love music and working with children. I was lucky enough to get to serve in a way that incorporated both. I taught the children in our ward how to sing songs about what we believe. I love hearing their sweet conviction portrayed through their voices. Currently I serve on a board that plans social activities for the women of our ward. I love being a part of such a wonderful community of women. I also have a few women that I have been assigned to visit, find their needs, and bring them a gospel message. I love these sisters and am pleased to say that we have just a little too much fun during our visits.
