Hi I'm Kierstin

I'm a stay at home mother of 5. I love to sew and play the piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am wife to a wonderful husband and mother to our 5 precious children. I love being able to stay at home with my children and being a homemaker. I have a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and a master's degree in library and information science and have worked as a chemistry librarian in a large university. I gave up that position to focus on my dream job, being a stay at home mom. Now I enjoy reading with my children, trying new recipes, and working on sewing projects.

Why I am a Mormon

I find happiness in living the gospel of Jesus Christ. Knowing God's plan for all of His children gives me direction and purpose in this life and an unwavering hope for blessings promised to those who keep His commandments. My relationship with my Savior is very important to me and know that living the Mormon faith draws me nearer to Him. I feel that His full and complete gospel is found here.

How I live my faith

In my personal life, I seek to treat others as I know Jesus Christ would. I try to give others the benefit of the doubt, speak with kindness, and offer help to those in need. At home, I strive to teach my children the principles of the gospel so that they, too, can find happiness in keeping the commandments of God. We attend church weekly, read scriptures together daily, and one evening a week gather for spiritual instruction as well as good wholesome fun. At church, I serve in the organization for young women ages 12-18 and love to see them learning to live and apply gospel values and teachings in their own lives.
