Hi I'm Kurt

I was born in Australia and immigrated to the United States when I was two. Now happily married with 2 sons and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am your typical sports fan. I especially enjoy watching college football and basketball. I enjoy coaching my sons and watching them play. I am active in the outdoors and like to Hunt, Fish, and Camp as much as time allows. I love to spend time with my wife seeing movies and eating at our favorite places. Give me a green chili burrito and I am a happy man!

Why I am a Mormon

I remember as a 6 year old boy visiting Carthage Jail, with my family, where the Prophet Joseph Smith was martyred. I remember the feelings I had there. I remember the Holy Ghost witnessing to me that he was a prophet. I began to really try to read The Book of Mormon after that and the Spirit testified to me that it was true. I was baptized a member at age 8. The Church has brought meaning and comfort through my life and joy to my family. I testify that the truth is available to all and that through the Atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ we all can come to a knowledge of that truth.

How I live my faith

I try to be the best person I can. I am far from perfect! I participate in the community by serving along side the members of our church in various service projects. I serve as one of the youth leaders and work with young men in trying to help develop them to be worthy husbands and fathers in the future. The opportunities available to youth through the church really give them a sense of self worth. I also participate locally in coaching various youth sports teams.
