Hi I'm Maryn

I am a dedicated student, friend, wife, and a (future) mother. I am an adventurist, a competitor and i'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to the most amazing man who is also my very best friend. My husband is constantly helping me to live my life at a higher level and treats me like a queen. Each day I try to find new ways to serve him and show him how much he means to me. He and I are looking forward to soon starting a family together. Motherhood is something I have dreamed about to for a long time and I am very excited to begin that new chapter of our lives soon. Healthy competition really makes life exciting for me, which is part of the reason why I love playing and watching sports. Leading an active life is important to me. Keeping my mind busy by continual learning is always a fun challenge for me as well. I am currently studying to be a dental hygienist. It is a way I feel like I can make a difference in the world by allowing people to have confidence in their smile and helping to improve their overall health. Life is fun and exiting.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me as a member of the church. I came to a point of my life during my teenage years that I had to not lean on their faith any longer but to find out for what was true. After much study and prayer, God answered my prayers by confirming to me that what I had felt me whole life were feelings to confirm to me the truthfulness of what I had always been taught. God continues to remind me everyday that living the gospel of Jesus Christ is what will bring me the greatest happiness in life. My testimony of Christ has carried me trials in my life that I don't think I would have been able to endure without the knowledge that I have a Savior who knows and loves me. It's because of that firm conviction that I chose to spend a year and a half of my life to serve a full-time mission for the church. I wanted everyone to know the things I knew and to feel the things I felt. My experiences on my mission have taught me so much about life, people, and about God's love and awareness of me.

How I live my faith

My husband and I are very blessed to be able to work with the youth of the church. I teach the youth Sunday school class on Sundays and my husband teaches an early-morning seminary class to high school aged kids during the week. These high school kids are faced with tough choices and many temptations. The choices that they will make in these next few years will determine much of their lives. My husband and I have such an opportunity to have a profound influence on these young kids.
